You may need a Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDI) for closing in Texas. Grissom Inspections can provide Wood Destroying Insect reports in conjunction with a home inspection or as a stand-alone service. Be sure to check with your lender before scheduling your inspection to see if our more informational Wood Destroying Insect report will be adequate or if you need the report in the FHA required format. Termites, carpenter ants, powder post beetles and carpenter bees are classified as wood destroying insects in our homes. Wood Destroying Insect Inspection include the foundation, interior walls and cabinets, attic area, doors, windows, closets, or anywhere a termite or carpenter ant can hide.
